A window wonder



Finally I managed to take out those few moments with a book that was pending for years…flipping through a few pages, spending that maximum time gazing through the window side…I read little and still window gave a glimpse of the words written between the lines        
Windows… they often offer vibrant hues and myriad moods of the world. Yes, the windows, the Microsoft giant Bill Gates refers to as something ‘to see through’. What is a room with a view without a wonderful window?  Sylvan surroundings, bountiful beaches, chirping sounds of birds or that beautiful full bloom, it’s a window wonder, right?   
Anytime when you are little down or elated, just stand by the side of window sipping your evening or morning cup of coffee, windows are likely to have a calming effect on you. I have always found windows soothing. They are natural air conditioners. Allowing a fresh breeze of air inside, windows are the vigilant ventilators opening doors to the whirlwinds of thoughts suffocated into the proverbial four walls of the thing called mind…
Sliders and curtains, you would require them when windows bring inside penetrating sunrays, cyclone like winds and storming showers that make headway to your room through your window. You need to shut them at times when surroundings are dancing to the tunes of the nature’s fury…and you can open them again, to see the limpid blue sky beneath the dark clouds.
Stale air, they all cry about when they have closed the doors of their windows. They have beautified windows with stylish curtains that add a dash of a smart dĂ©cor to their room. Artificial air conditioners are giving them a feeling of offering a fresh breeze of air… and here they sit, on gadgets with their screens displaying nature’s beauty at its best. Stunning screensavers seldom act as savior to their choked emotions…
And here they get out open to the sky to vent out all their clogged feelings and shout at the top of their voice to hear the resonance of their cries as it hits back with vengeance…
When just an open window could have given that so much of a let go, … windows are wonderful as they fit into a frame that gives glimpse to the open skies as an iota of its eternity can open the door to the limitless within us…

Travel trail

Hushhh… I heaved a sigh of relief when I caught my train at the Nagpur station on way back to Pune. In just two days, I had my hands more than full. As train moved, journey of my thoughts also started. This travel was part of a long journey that had begun… Thanks to the 16-hour travel, I had jolly good time to think. A bagful of diamonds! Their radiance is amazing. You don’t know which one to choose, as each is no less bright and beautiful. The right choice is tough. It gets tougher when it’s about choosing best among the best. Of course, not often do we encounter such a situation but when we do, we would be lost.
